For most other insurances we are Out of Network (OON).
**We do not accept AHCCCS, Medicare, or Medicaid plans at this time, nor can we offer superbills for Medicare clients
*Many insurance companies will reimburse for 'Out of Network' providers which means we can provide you with a super bill that you can then submit to your insurance company which may allow you to receive full or partial reimbursement. Please check with your insurance company for confirmation. (This does not apply for reduced rate fees or student intern fees).
A note on using insurance (either in or out of network): To be able to use insurance, therapists must give you a diagnosis which goes on your permanent health record, which means you will forever have a pre-existing condition that is accessible by insurance companies or government agencies. This is true for ALL therapy and group therapy practices, whether they inform you of it or not (they're required to). Among other things, this can make buying health, disability, and life insurance harder and more expensive because you may only qualify for limited, high deductible plans with high co-pays. Insurance companies can also limit the number of overall sessions they will pay during a given time frame and can deny claims for up to two years after services.

Using insurance can also limit your choice of therapists, and it can be challenging to find a therapist who both takes your insurance and is a good fit, which, according to research, can be a key element to successful therapy outcomes. Just some things to keep in mind!
